"Pearson Hurst" (phurst)

This was burried in my photodump of the last Cars & Coffee, but I thought it deserved its own post. I’m a huge fan of the show, and was absolutely blown away to see this at my local Cars & Coffee. It was from the 12th season, where they’re in California, but I’m all the way across the country in Virginia. The Pacer sure isn’t my favorite car, and definitely not one of my favorite projects from those guys, but it was cool non the less.
Here’s the car:
And here’s the episode.

That car was proof that Edd should not be trusted with design decisions. It was awful.

OK these last few minutes have been really weird.
Wheeler Dealers just finished on the Tele. Then I pop onto CarThrottle, where they are having an AMA with Edd and now this. At this rate, Mike is gonna knock on my door any moment now.

If I remember correctly, no one would buy it so it was auctioned off for charity. No idea where the buyer was.

Every time they show a vintage American car, you know there’s a 90% chance that they’ll do some sort of really tacky customization. They’re usually a good 25-30 years behind on trends too, so at least that’s not the case here.

The only custom American car I liked was the big green Cadillac and that was right on the border.
